Kids Chrissy Ornament Class (2 days)

SERVICE DESCRIPTION:

This class is a fun class designed for children and their carers to create memorable Christmas ornaments. Children must be accompanied by a participating adult (purchased a ticket to the class). Join us at our Avalon Beach pottery studio for 2 days (1 hour sessions -a week apart) to create and decorate your own festive Christmas ornaments or gift tags. What You Will Learn: - Basics of slab and coil building to create unique decorations - Use a variety of stencils, cutters and stamps to create personalised ornaments - Decorate your (bisque fired) pieces with a selection of underglazes and glazes. What is supplied: - 2 x 1 hour classes (a week apart) - First session- make your ornaments using a variety of techniques and materials - Second class- decorate your (bisque fired) creations with a selection of colours and glazes - All tools and materials - Firing of your pieces - Bring home glazed decorations (ready to collect 1-2 weeks after) What to bring: - Any pictures and ideas of what you would like to make - Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (Aprons are provided) Who is this class designed for: - Beginners, so no experience needed - Children and their carer (parent, grandparent, auntie, friend) Please note: - Glazed pieces will be ready for pick up 1-2 weeks after class (you will receive a text when ready for pick up).
